The sample preparation lab is equipped with a Mettler Toledo XSR205DU analytical balance, a PUK U5 micro welder, an Olympus BX51 petrographic microscope with long working distance objective lenses, an Olympus SZ61 stereo microscope, a laminar-flow fume hood, a drying oven, a fridge, and a workbench with many tools and accessories for experimental capsule preparation.
